The 20/twenty Challenge raises funds to help The Spastic Centre purchase much needed equipment for children with cerebral palsy.
The event involves a 2 km swim at Shelly Beach, Manly, a 500 m kayak at Clontarf, and a 20 km walk along the coastline to Clifton Gardens, Mosman.
You can give practical help to these children and their families in two ways:
The 20/twenty Challenge was initiated by James Hodgkinson (Macquarie Group Foundation). James was inspired by his nephew Alex Graham who has cerebral palsy (CP). Since the 2004 inaugural event, 20/twenty Challenge has raised over $2 million to purchase more than 800 items of communication and mobility equipment for children with CP and other disabilities.
Our special thanks go to Macquarie Group Foundation who has sponsored this event for the last 5 years, and to our patrons Richard Harry, Jason Little and David Wilson.
20/twenty teams will be allocated closer to the event.
