The Spastic Centre has been located at Allambie Heights since 1957. While our organisation has stood the test of time, our buildings have not. McLeod House no longer meets current accessibility standards for our clients. These older facilities incur high maintenance costs, and restrict the programs and services we offer our clients.
Our plan is now to modernise the site to meet existing and future needs.
This involves:
The Spastic Centre has engaged DEM architects to prepare a plan to upgrade the Allambie Heights site. As part of this process, specialist consultants have prepared technical reports on factors ranging from flora and fauna, to traffic and parking.
The Spastic Centre is undertaking consultation with the community. We invite residents and businesses in the local community to meet the project team and learn more about the plan.
