News: Diamond Anniversary Ball

Celebrating 60 years and the launch of the CP Foundation.

'Starry Starry Night' was the theme of a Diamond Anniversary Ball held in August 2005 to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of The Spastic Centre. The Centre has grown from humble beginnnings into one of the largest services providers for people with cerebral palsy and their families in NSW.

A highlight of the evening was a generous donation of $500 000 to the CP Foundation from the Prime Minister of Australia, The Hon John Howard, MP. The vision of the CP Foundation is to work towards a better future through prevention, optimal services and, ultimately, a cure for cerebral palsy. Find out more on the CP Foundation website.
